I had some free time this weekend, so I was thinking about starting a new game with Tutu. Somewhere between hunting through the various mods and packs that kinda sorta have the tweaks I wanted, I thought it would be much easier to write my own mod for it. Idobek was kind enough to let me scavenge some of his code and components, so here we are. Suggestions for new tweaks are more than welcome. I'm already working on adding map notes for the next version.

Support for this mod will be handled over at the Gibberlings Three Forums.

Having unlimited stacks of various items, sorta takes the reality away from the gaming (9000 bottles of healing in the bag, 9000 bottles of healing, add one to............), but it seems it will be a nice mod for anyone that plays BG.

The Club thing makes sense, yes....

As for suggestions, maybe an option of making enemies tougher?....

I agree with the making enemies tougher idea. There ought to be an additional part to the Difficulty slider which adds 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 HPs to enemies and a corresponding XP bonus because they're more difficult to get the better of.

Absolutely. I think that we modders aim a wide scale of players with the different mods, falling into categories from true AD&D-style to overpowered and cheating craziness.

The unlimited stacking components are not intended for realism but rather for those that hate inventory management--it's an ease-of-use component.

Every component is independent and optional, so if you see something you like, don't let the ones you don't like scare you off. :)

I gotta say though, the "infinite stacking" hack is one of the things that makes the game still playable.
It didnĀ“t take long before I got tired of buying ammo all the time.

How about throwing in that "No Wear Limitations" mod aswell?
No problem getting it anyhow, but since you asked...

The "no wear limitation" is no problem, though the BG2 Ease-of-Use pack will take care of this for Tutu. The unlimited stacking from EoU does not work for Tutu, which is why I made those components.

In regards to tougher opponents... that would require a lot of work and enemy AI scripting is not my forte. :( I'll leave that for another modder.

"I'll leave that for another modder."

I guess this is where I should step in and promote my mod in all directions.

Well, it's not that bad. First of all, there's no way (barring cluaconsoling the items in that you could get anywhere near than many healing potions. Secondly, even if you did, you STILL wouldn't be able to carry that many, because there are still weight restrictions (I think all potions weigh one pound). So Imoen for example, who will have leather armor, a sword and a bow, probably wouldn't be able to carry more than about 30 or so before becoming encumbered.
