[IMG] I would say no, actually, but rent it and see for yourself, or pick it up used. Its a great game; great action, effects, the story is good enough (very basic), and its fun, especially in two player. The only thing is, its too short. I finished it in one night with a friend. The one factor lending balance to the game's brevity is that after you beat it once in the normal level, (I think, it may be beating it in the harder level), you can play as Drizzt and i think maybe someone else. You also discover cool inventory items. Its nothing like BG, but I'm sure you know that. So, I'd say rent it and check it out. if it has rteplay value go for it, otherwise, just rent it when you feel the itch.

Well, when you liked BG1 and Bg2 or just like RPG's I would advice to buy it yes. It might be a bit short but you can play the game with many different classes and races, different parties or even solo, many alignments.... so I would say... go for it!

[IMG] It's only good with a friend. Make sure you play it on 2 player. Me and my little sister have had a brilliant time on it. We unlocked Drizzt too. :) Get it, but make sure you have friends to play it with.

what are you talking abut headbanger? You can only be 3 different people but Drizzt once you unlock him.
And also what the hell? Different clases?!!! Different alignments, Partys or solo?!!! You pick a character and play with it. It's basiclly an RPG platformer. I have no idea what game you're thinking of though headbanger...

Ok, I thought DA was just a Baldurs Gate game but then for PS2 only.... in that case I made a misstake.... sorry.

I talk too much when I can spam about things I don't know anything about.

  6. I just saw a movie with it and it looks cool and all. But is it pretty much only hack'n'slash ?

Yeah, mostly hack & slash. There is some NPC interaction, but it is entirely linear, the dialogue choices are not actually 'choices.'

As has been said before, though, it is a lot of fun with 2 people. I didn't know that Drizzt thing either...maybe I'll rent it again.

If you complete the game a Gauntlet menu option comes up. Complete this and get Gauntlet extreme. Complete this and you get to play with Drizzt through the main game and not just the Gauntlet.
