    Just so all you consol geeks know it: Interplay have announced Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II for PS2 and Xbox. At ToTheGame you'll find the first screenshots for the PS2 and Xbox versions.

    How does this differ from BG2 for the PC?

    Moot point really as I haven't got either Xbox or Playstation but I was just kind of curious.

    [​IMG] Is the mod for pc BG2 the same as PS2. I think I'm going to pay all the mods for bg sometime. So I would like to know if they are worth playing.

    I'm playing Dark Alliance right now on my friend's Playstation. While it's nowhere near as good as the game, it's a neat diversion. In terms of hack and slash though, it makes the IWD series look like New York Times Bestselling Novels compared to it. Plus you only get a few base characters to choose from, can't even name them, and never have a chance to have a party unless you multiplay with a friend. Don't go out of your way to get or play this game, but if the opportunity arises, take it if you just want to be able to say, been there, done that.

    I have Dark Alliance in the shop where I work. I sold it once since it was released and changed for an other game the other day. I hope the sequal will do better.

    The first one wasn't very good, the gameplay and graphics were ok but the story was lame and the games was WAY to short.
