Baldur's Gate 1 experience cap remover problems...

    [​IMG] I have a version of BG 1 that comes pre-patched with 1.4. I don't know if that interferes, but I have tried many of the world's experience cap remover hacks and can still can gain no more than 44500 experience points. I have tried BGHack, Gruntware... What are some others that might work? Has anyone else had this problem before?

    Well, I only tried this with TotSC installed so I wouldn't know. At note on this though: there is only so much experience to be found in BG so I wouldn't advise trying to get that high in level.

    [​IMG] It's not about gaining levels, it's about the insurance that my entertainment has a purpose. Without that, when I clobber a hard monster, I will feel stupid, for any journal entries are erased when exported into BG2, and those are my only bonuses.

    nah.. I don;t support this. I still don't understand why you want this gap to be removed. You kill people for you hate them and they hate you, not for the XP-only. When you import your char to BG2, you start always with the same XP so what's the use of the gap? The maximum XP of this adventure is just 89500 XP per character and that is more then enough to kill Sarevok.
