    [IMG] Hey!

Ummm, it seems all Avariel elves live like in the north region.

I am trying to find a good spot on the Forgotten Realms map to put an Avariel fortress, but really can't find one.

Can anyone think of a good place to put:

one Avariel fortress, somewhere below Calimshan, east of the Jungles of Chult.

    and

another Avariel fortress, north or west of Halruaa?

Anyone who has ideas, please feel free to post, as I need a little help in making my decisions!

Well, first of all, is this fortress a flying one or is it on the ground?

Now as for the location, I don't think a fortress in/over the jungle is a nice place for Avariels. Halruaa might be a good place, but the Sword Coast is perfect. Also, Icewind Dale might be fine.

(I don't know where the Avariels live, so don't blame me if I said something wrong)

Avariels often have their communities placed on high mountain peaks. IIRC, Halruaa is surrounded by mountains. Since you asked for a place east of the Jungles of Chult, you might consider a fort on the western part of Halruan mountains. Or the mountains east of the Jungles of Chult and west of the '....' Jungles (forgot the name).

I thought Winged Elves are less common in the south and are more common in the North, but that's way to far from Chult. ;)

Shove it somewhere on the Spine of the World, maybe east of Icewind Dale on the top of some mountain. Placing it north of Lurkwood would be a good idea I guess. What year will this be set?
