    Commentary after the article:

    Hmm, so let's review the facts:

    [1] Intruder apparently gains access to house while his victim is the only witness. Enters and leaves without leaving any evidence or traces we hear about

    [2] Bomb is a fake

    [3] "Ransom note" contains no demands and no details of arrangements for payment

    [4] Girl is easily able to call her father with no consequences

    [5] Girl, living in bubble of privilege,has recently acquired enormous bolt-on breast implants (presumably with parents' approval). Unstable/messed up body issues? Preparing bid for 15 minutes of fame?

    [6] Incident takes place the day before high-pressure, high-stress final exams.

    A collar bomb with a trembler switch? and the girl didnt accidentally set it off? who would make a collar bomb with a trembler switch? its about as useful as a curve barreled rifle.

    What can I say? I missed them. It happens.

    Thanks for the linkies, just the same. So... breast implants. Clearly this implicates her as a conspirator in this bomb hoax. Case closed.

    The first thing I thought was that this girl was likely running a scam of some sort. Now I'm willing to wait until more facts are in, but the more I hear about this case the fishier it is.

    What about motive? To extort more money from her wealthy parents, who presumably already bankrolled her elective boob job surgery?

    I understand the police are due to interview her today. If she was complicit somehow, they'll know.

    Reminds me of the news I read from Osaka, where bits and pieces of 3 different bodies were found in a park in a canister.

    For the local police it was obviously; it was suicide...Case closed! :rolleyes:
