I bought the Atari DVD compilation and the IWD disc doesn't work (nothing happens when I insert the disc). HOW and the two IWD2 discs seem OK (the install screen appears). I got a replacement from the shop but I had the same problem with the new one.
Is there a patch or trick to solve this?

    Thanks in advance,

    GW

    Thanks for replying.

I hadn't noticed that only one was a DVD - I assumed they all were from the label on the front.
However, since i'm using a DVD/CD writer to play the game, should this matter?

Did you try just exploring the CD and running the setup executable?

When I put the DVD disc in, nothing happens for a while apart from the flashing light on the DVD/CD writer, then I get a message saying that it's a blank CD and I am given the usual options from Windows for blank CDs.

Right clicking on the D drive shows that the disc is a DVD-R with no bytes on it.

I tried another computer and DVD writer and got the same result.
Looks like the store I purchased the game from must have a bad batch.

    Thanks for the replies
