    many thanks for the manual link. just what i need :)
    i'm still waiting for the game in the mail unfortunately. that's why i have so many questions :p

    i noticed that there are no animal companions for the ranger or druid. that's a shame. especially for the druid. they tend to rely on them in the early levels.
    oh well.
    just thought i'd throw this little tid bit up so anyone else reading these forums has the knowledge.

    just make another character and change its animation to a monster (that is an option with cheatkeys right?) make it a bard and use its song like the familiars bonus :p

    lol. it wouldn't be the 1st time i did that. in BG2 i changed my sorcerer's avatar into a mephit and cast spells in that form :D
