[IMG] If your like me you find Brynnlaw a little boring so I was thinking, why not make it a little more interesting? So came up with an idea that instead of going straight to spellhold it will go to a new area like that woods area that doesn't seem to have anything in it and from there you either go to spellhold or a cave which is be hidden. In there you find a pirate's treasure and a band of pirates. Maby a quest from the pirate captian. I havn't really put much thought into it and probablly will never even start it. Put any thoughts you have into it and maby somebody will take the time to make it.

    [Edit]
Or even better, safe the town for the pirates! On the way out perferably.

    Ahhhh, good old Brynnlaw.

Back in the day...when i was first a regular here (before the invention of air) we all used to talk about new and exciting things to do with BL. The most popular of which was a a stringhold for a Swashbuckler character.

To the best of my knowledge nothing ever came of it. But BL is a great place and could do with some mod editions. The worst thing of course is that once gone, you do ot seem able to return.

I'll put in a Ship Captain to book a passage to it... But hey, its gonna have to wait in line... Hunter kit, then <Name of NPC>, then Lia, and then its Bynnlaw's turn. Maby I should get some help.....
Oh and perhaps a stronghold specificly for the monk since hes a class of his own but without a proper and unique stronghold.

[Edit] You can name the first NPC, Male hunter(a ranger kit)

What about a pirate NPC the banter options could be quite interesting, obsessed with money or gems with little morals. Could lead to conflict with Keldorn and Minsc but funny 'evil' banters with Korgan. The kit for a pirate would probably be Swashbucker? anyways some kind of fighter / thief hybrid. Special abilities could include summon lesser water elemental. Seeing as BL is a temporary area i dont think a stronghold would work so thats why id prefer the idea of a new character.

Already got 2 planned..... Besides I've got the ship captain somewhere in my personal mod folder (full of mostly items, a few of non-joinable npcs). I can send it to you when my computer gets back from the shop if you like.

[Edit] Oh and if you know anybody with is good portrait making, let me know will ya?

Yes, but she charges money now so I'm not sure if that's okay with you.

I personally do not have time to develop an NPC. I'm happy to provide any help that you may need, though.

I suppose if you really want to help you can make the area of the captain's room of the ship... not that I've desided what to do with it yet..... mind you I can't do crap untill my computer comes back seeing as how this computer won't install BG1 or BG2.
[Edit] Although I do have some code started in notepad...

The thing I always liked most about Brynnlaw was the music. It would be nice to have good reasons to hang around in town longer and hear it more often. ;)

The thing someone really should do about BL, is a battle at the sea. Since Saemon specifically warns about pirates, there should be pirates! Saemon giving them warning seem a bit "No time, we need to cover our hurrying by few screens of dialogue!"
I was actually dissapointed the first time, thinking that there would be great battle of pirates leaping on board, swordfights all over the place and even possible shipwreck :(
