    Hey all,
I have just become the victim of someones sad sense of humour. i was playing my way through the goblin attack at the palisade with my sorcerer and cleric (using magic users before I try going solo with a warrior) and my main character (the sorcerer) is not able to pick up anything of the ground or from a container. I hade a look in my inventory and I found an invisible, immovable object taking up one of my inventory slots. I right clicked on the object and it came with just the word "beetle" on the description window. This is obviously a bug, and whoever made it thought it would be f-ing hilarious to make such a bad pun out of it. Any help to get rid of this right pain in the ass is more than welcome.

    Cheers

I've had this before. You can remove the offending "bug" with DaleKeeper - the IWD2 version, that is.

It seems to have gone now, I tried Dalekeeper but nothing appeared so I decided to see if it had gone in the game and it had. I will bet any amount that it came from a mod but god only nows which one.

I think it may be from the "Ease of Use" mod component where "forgotten items" are added back it to the game. At one point a shield gets added to your inventory for doing something in Targos. I think in normal mode it's the "Cliffs of Targos" shield or something like that. The HoF equivalent - well it doesn't quite work. ;)
