Ok, I'm finally trying to go all the way thru the game. Is there a certain way or order you do quest or visit places? Some areas seem too easy, where others seem too danged hard. It usually makes me want to play F/M/T, which is way too cheesy of a character :p

The quests in the town (except temple sewers or the Haer'Dalis quest) are usually easier than the outside quests, so I'd do them first.
The order also depends on the party members you want and their special quests, I'd also do your stronghold quest pretty early.

But you should be able to do your quests in any order you like ...

Well, I wouldn't say any order. For example I would not leave the Copper Coronet and walk over to the Windspear Hills, or attempt the Unseeing Eye quest. Some of the easier options for early in the game are the poisoned man returned to the harpers - mega easy and loads of XPs, Maer Var's guild hall - especially when you consider all the loot and XPs you get from all the containers, and I'd even say the druid grove is pretty easy - there's really no hard fights in the entire thing. Also, the slavers quest I think is meant to the be the first one you do. Others with not so great XPs that can be done early include all the town quests, like cleaning out the graveyard and catacomb area, solving the skinner murders and the like.

    I generally start with:

    1. slavers
    2. mae'var quests
    3. trademeet/druid grove
    4. planar prison
    5. D'arnise keep

After these are done you are easily powerful enough to do any of the remaining quests in whatever order suits your fancy.

Only one piece of advice: if you intend to get the de'Arnise Hold (fighter) or Five Flagons (bard) as your stronghold, try starting these as early as possible. The stronghold quests for these two in particular are exceptionally long.

The Unseeing Eye is actually easier to do early than late - the diffuculty scales.

    I tend to do:

    1. Circus Tent
    2. Slavers
    3. Unseeing Eye
    4. Spellhold

After that, whatever strikes my fancy ;)

[IMG] Actually, I would say all quests can be done in any order. Although clearly some are easier, the extremely hard ones need some easier ones to be completed first.
It all depends on your NPC choice, and PC profile.

This is waht makes BG2 one of the greatest PC RPG: there is such a variety of ways to complete the game, that its replay power is fabulous.

Personally, I like to do the Arnisse keep early to get the Flail of the Ages.
