    Remove all ads!
    [​IMG] so Amber joins my party, but then she directly walks up to my PC and complains and leaves.

    Anybody else ever experience this bug?

    You don't have any other romances running? Anyway it sounds a bit strange with her running away, are you by any chance being a prick in your game?

    It happens as soon as she joins the party in the jail. So I give the letter to the guard, she comes out, and after the dialogues joins the party.
    At that moment, she comes and complains and leaves.
    I do have the Jaheira romance running, and my party has a good rep.

    What exactly does she say to your PC before she leaves?

    EDIT: What other mods do you have installed?

    EDIT2:

    Okay, I remember that someone else had the same problem before. It's caused by a certain variable of Amber's not getting set properly. Last time it was due another (non-weidu) mod adding a looping script block (= a block that is executed on every script round) to the baldur.bcs script file. Since Amber's script blocks are added to the end of the baldur.bcs file they are never executed, if there's a looping script block added by another mod above them.

    Since the baldur.bcs is the main script of the game, adding a looping script block to it is likely to cause all kinds of problems.

    IIRC last time the non-weidu mod causing this was the Big Picture. If you have the BP installed I recommend switching to the weidu version of it. If you don't have that installed, can you tell what mods (both weidu and non-weidu) you have installed? Furthermore, if possible, send a copy of you baldur.bcs to <amber@welho.net>. You can find the current version of the baldur.bcs in the override folder, which in turn is located in the main BG2 folder.

    The issue was previously discussed here.

    Amber says something like: I'm tired of being treated like that (or something like that). And leaves.

    As far as Mods, here is what I have installed other than Amber:
    - Xan
    - Kivan
    - Kelsey
    - Unfinished Business
    - Quest pack (without thieves component)
    - Tower of Deception
    - Banter packs
    - Item upgrade
    - Underepresented Items

    Okay, can I then have a copy of a savegame where you have started Amber's first quest (getting her out of the prison). I need it check out if I'm right about the variable not being set.

    Can I also have a copy of your current baldur.bcs file? If I'm right about the variable, I can check if there's something in the baldur.bcs above my script block that prevents the variable from being set. You can find the baldur.bcs in the override folder.
