    Try here. I would say the best bets are BG1 & BG2 Complete Item Texts by Kusai Onara and BG2 & ToB Full Item List with Description Text by Dan Simpson. They are near the bottom of the page.

    Thanks Kuemp. Kinda a mission to find what you want. what i was looking for was the best 2 short swords, long sword and 2 axes. this is for an evil party. i take it that celestial fury is the best Katana?

    Katana - Celestial Fury
    Long Sword - The Answerer, Angurvadal or The Equalizer
    Axes - Axe of the Unyielding, Frostreaver/Stonefire, Rifthome and K'logarath (the last 2 are returning throwing axes)
    Short Swords - Cutthroat

    These are what I think are the best.

    This is where I usually go look when I want to decide what weapons I want to use for a party. It gives a much clearer overview than some text documents. Here's another. The first link misses a few items, but has a clearer overview, the second one has all weapons I know of.
