[IMG] I've got a small problem. I'm in the beginning of ToB, and I found myself either winning completly or getting my party blown to bits and pieces.

    My party consists of:

    Rurik (PC), F/T, level 16/19
    Korgan, level 24
    Sarevok, level 24
    Viconia, level 26
    Kelsey, level 21
    Edwin, level 20

Korgan dies every now and then, sometimes Edwin and Kelsey as well if they get too close for comfort. I'm playing on insane, so they usually die from a solid hit. But here's my problem. When Korgan dies, it's getting really hard since atleast 1/3 of my enemies were hitting him (I tend to do some backstabbing hence I don't get hit alot) turns towards Sarevok, if I'm lucky, or any of the casters. Then I usually lose. If I get both Edwin and Kelsey to cast their Time Stop -> Imp. Alacrity, they pretty much win the battle in two Time Stops. Since Kelsey is a sorcerer, he can quite a few Time Stops too.

My problem is that I either win quite easy, or my enemies win quite easy. Anyone got a tip on how to play? I don't use the Crom Faeyr or the Silver Sword. Sarevok with WW and the Silver Sword just wasn't the way to enhance the game experience.

I don't know what's wrong, it just feels like everything's so unbalanced.

You have some mods installed? Ascension? What enemies are you reffering to? Imp. Fire Giants from Tactics or Imp. Battles? They are way too tough I agree. If noti I can not see your problem. Can you explain a little more please?

    A few general tips:
-Have your fighters use Hardiness always. Try to stack them too!

-Casters should buff like crazy; always start battles with Mirror Image, Stoneskin, Pro from everything casted. It helps to cast their first Time Stop; if you have Robe of Vecna+Imp. Alacrity; the battle is almost over.

I don't have any major mods, just Kelsey that affects ToB. The Fire Giants go down pretty fast, though if they get in a few hits, I'm screwed. If I lower the difficulty level, it gets to easy though. The Time Stop -> Imp. Alacrity works like a charm, though it takes the fun out of the battles instead. Having sorcerer who can cast 3 Time Stops and 3 Imp. Alacrity is just... wow... not that I want it to be that effective, but... wow...

I don't really know if there's an answer out there. No harm in asking though. I play like the avarage man I am. Sarevok uses The Ravager/Psion Blade, Korgan wields the Runehammer or K'lorgoth (spelling?), I use the Blackrazor and The Answerer. I'm thinking of changing that though, since it's really powerful and I don't like powergaming.
