ALFA Renewal

    I see from the front page (and ALFA's front page) that they now have a renewal process to keep your character active. I can't tell how one goes about doing so, however. Anyone? Anyone?

    ALFA's boards are boring and regularly do what I like to call "suck eggs." So I'm worried I'll miss an announcement and lose my character. Then Faerun would be without its favorite CG bard. (Assuming that Erran is CN.)

    [​IMG] Hmm... easy enough to find. If you'd followed the link on the ALFA news page to the Charter, under "Rules Regarding the Player Base" you'd find this:

    7.a - ACTIVE STATUS: All Players must renew their account whenever the renewal announcement has been made. There will be a one month period for all players to renew their ALFA accounts. If you fail to renew your Player account within one month of the renewal announcement, then your ALFA Player account will be deleted and will not be restored. The account renewal form will be accessed from the ALFA Web site, and Players will be sent notices through e-mail, message board postings, and the announcement will also be made on the ALFA front page. The renewal notice may be announced at any time the Admin see fit. Please note: ALFA will honor your account by exempting you from having to renew your account if you are unable to regularly check your email over an extended amount of time; such as military service (or most other duties) that might restrict your online time, as long as you indicate this on the appropratie section of the ALFA Application form.

    That charter doesn't explain how to renew my character.

    (Ok, ok, so I missed the part that said I'd be notified by email.)
