Who would you consider best suited for an evil party? I've considered taking along Viconia, Korgan, Haer'dalis and Jan, but all the other NPCs seem to be quite good oriented. Any ideas?

Edwin, possibly Yoshimo, might even consider Anomen if he fails his test.

Viconia, Edwin and Korgan are obvious choises.
Jan and Haer'Dalis will always join you, but do you want them?
You can take Anomen and lead him down the evil path.
Jaheira and Cernd should not give any trouble unless your rep falls real bad.
Yoshimo and Imoen will never leave you come hell or high water ... almost.

And for fun take Minsc and Boo along. Who else will glare at you and your evil deads with righteous outraged fury? Its there, you just have to look closely ;)

There are few evil characters in the game. Just check their alignment and youll find the few there are very soon. More good than evil chars, so you are kind of limited to your choices if you consider to go REALLY evil ( rep lower than 2 2 ). Point is that you probably wont do this unless you are hunting experience ( if your rep is 0 , you will be hunted down by several parties ). You want to be able to buy stuff from the stores.

If you've got the mod installed, Solaufein(spelling?) is a great character. Fighter-mages rock. He's chaotic neutral so he'll fit nicely in an evil party providing you don't go too low (1-2).

If you have TDD installed, go for Adario Kelvaras. If you get the Valen mod, get her. Of course, you have to side with Bodhi and you also have to move mostly at night.

I just started an evil party. I created a swashbuckler and soloed him through the first dungeon. Then i did the sell resell trick with wands on the guy in maevars guild hall. Then i got korgan, suited him up (myself as well). Thats it. Thats all you need to do to get through most of the easier quests in the game. The next person i plan to pick up is viccy, then I plan to grab edwin and head into watchers keep. Korgan is a beast right now! Thaco of -2, ac of -9. With gauntlets even better. Honestly hes a beast. Ive ripped through everything so far with ease (although thats not much truth be told, just the planar prison and copper coronet, plus slavers.) I just hide my theif and let him do all the work. Im sure this will be a fairly easy roundabout for now.

You could create a couple of evil characters in a multiplayer game then switch the save file over to single player, only those multiplayer created charactors wont have any dialogues.

You could CTRL Q a npc that you find along the way :)
