this isn't really a thing for people to discuss like their fav weapons and stuff!!! i ust want to know if anyone here is really addicted! i luv this game, i almost live it, like it's my second life! is this weird, or are there others out there like me?

 

I agree, this game IMO the best game made, and i am totally addicted, so its kinda normal, as long as we arent talking strangely addicted if u get what i mean eg: going around the house yelling minsc's quotes, yes i know they are humurous, and minsc is a very cool character, doesnt mean u should do it, remember only a game, not reality, but its all well and good to play and play and play..... good enough?

 

This game just grows on you as you go along with it.... and yeah, I'm addicted to it too.

 

What? you are NOT supposed to run around stating Minsc's quotes? whoa, gotta look at what i'm doing then. Al of a sudden i might end up saying your knees are mine, i am skilled in avoidance or Lets give it a good shake and see what falls out! I'd say im addicted yeah.

 

Well, I read an old swedish PC Gamer the other day, and found BG2 SoA getting 94%. One of the highest ever, only Operation Flashpoint 96%, Half-Life 96% and Quake III Arena 95% has gotten higher. It sais that the avarage player will have around 200 hours of playing when going through it all. Considering that fact that you've played through the game numerous times, can't even remember 'em all, and gone "half-through" even more, it's truly one of the best games ever.

Enablers and providers, indeed! I was addicted, but then along came NwN, and I addicted myself to that instead...

But!, then along came SP, with Boards that were Magick!, and now I'm addicted to this

Well, it is improving my written englisk werrry mach.

 

I'm totally addicted to this game too. I played it with a party only 6 times, as compared to 28 times solo...awesome game, awesome stuff.

Still no plans to stop playing....

 

I dont think there is anyone on these boards that aren´t addicted to BG2
I cant even recall the last day I didn´t play BG2 on. I gotta play alittle each day, if only 30 minutes or so. And it´s been like this since the game got released

 

I wouldn't say I was addicted at all.

I just play the game 22 hours a day because I paid for it and, damnit, I want to get my money's worth!

 

Well, there is nothing abnormal or bad about being addicted to this game. It would, however, be abnormal and bad to not be! This game is my number 1,(along with a certain Final Fantasy).

I heard a viscious rumour that black isle has split, disbanded, finished...anyone know if thats true...it's not...right?!

I am most definetely not addicted, im just minorly infatuated with the game, seeing as i can't go around throwing fireballs at kobolds and goblins i figure this is the next best thing.

 

I have played it continuously for more than 40 hours, stopping only to go to the toilet and eating in front of the computer! does that count?Some of my friends and I played simultaneously separate games and then we joined up at our favourite bar to discuss tactics and plots! this game is not a game is a way of life!

 

Yeah I totally love this game! It freakin rocks!
