Had anyone killed her?I tried but her cone of colds overwhelmed even Keldorn with cloak of mirrors and %60 magic resistance...what is in her hoard;she must have nice items like Firkraag or Thaxll'ssyillia(a nice name).
and one more question= is there any way to do her quest,get her reward and then kill her?
Oh, another one too...what can prevent an imprisonment?which spell or ring or is it freedom scrolls I must use.Liches who can't hurt Keldorn always imprison him and I have to reload.Thanks for replies...

 

Well, you mustn't kill her the first moment you see her or you're in deep trouble. Just wait untill the last moment to slay her.

A Scroll of Protection From Magic stops the Imprisonment, and so does the 6th level spell Spell Immunity (choose Abjuration)

 

yeah I know the prot from magic deal but they are so scarce that I am sparing one for Irenicus(used the other for Kangaxx and Shangalar).Spell immunity is just for the caster isn't it?I meant preventing for Keldorn, sorry couldn't make it clear in the first post..And I think there is no save for imprisonment nor magic resistance just kiss the material plane goodbye hehe.What's Adalon hoard.I never saw Adalon's name in any powerful item list unlike Firkraag or Thaxll whatever.

 

My cleric cast the Shield of Archon and allowed Kangaxx to try and imprison him while the other party members slashed, pierced and bludgeoned from behind and sides. The shield was able to absorb two imprisonments before it was spent. Luckily for me, Kangaxx fell like a ton of bricks before casting the third imprisonment.

 

Well my cleric wasn't able to cast lvl7 spells by the time I encountered Kangaxx(my party was about lvl12-13).I didn't even know it was the ever famous Kangaxx's tomb when I opened it...he immediately cast power words stun fear etc. so my party was down to minsc and keldorn...I had to use prot magic scroll on Keldorn 'cause minsc wasn't smart enough to read it(poor guy)then with only minsc and keldorn I hacked him and his djinni friend to hell..I was caught unaware but hadn't have to reload again.I was lucky I think..But by the way anyone killed the adalon- please stay on topic -thanks anyway

 

Actually, there isn't much in Adalon's hoard. There's a vial of her blood (used to make the human skin armor), a scroll which will break the ward on the Drow gate (located in the Kua Toa area), and some gems. No scales to make armor with. I don't remember if there were any weapons or armor... if there was any, I couldn't use it so disregarded it.

 

Hmm...it is a shame for blackisle then-I think they thought no one would like to cross her.She is the most powerful dragon in the game -much harder than the red and shadow-.Her hoard should have been more than money and gems; a good alignment only armor or sword would be suitable...

 

What about the Green Dragon?
