I'm pretty sure Icewind dale is coming to an end for me, but before I start Icewind Dale II I have some questions.

I imagine that I can import my characters from Icewind Dale to Icewind Dale II. But before I do that, if I install Heart of Winter and Trials of the Luremaster and go through all of it and THEN import my characters into Icewind Dale II, will my characters level be too high making it too easy in Icewind Dale II?

1st off, you can't import from IWD to IWD2 because they use different rules. IWD follows the 2.5 edition D&D while IWD2 used 3rd edition.

2nd, in IWD2 you start off as a Level 1 party. The level reached is far to high even if you could import your chars.
