    I didn't see anything in the FAQ's or the walkthroughs I've got about letting other party members lead.

    Does this have any detrimental effects on the main character (other than the fact that when the whole party is selected someone else will be the one to go get treasure)? XP are divided evenly, right?

    XP are divided evenly, though the one with the highest charisma should lead, as he/she is the one that mostly talks to people.

    [​IMG] I think if the person in the lead has a high charisma it helps your party out, but I don't know any details. But yes the experience is divided equally.

    Yeah, I (CN bard) have the highest CHA, so I just make sure that I talk to everyone. Or do some folks we encounter (like, say, the guy giving directions in Beregost)automatically talk to the guy at the top of the marching order? I thought they just went for the first party member they saw.

    [​IMG] Usually someone will talk to the first party member they see, but I was thinking more along the lines that if the leader has higher charisma, then the party members have less of a chance to have morale failure.
