    My concern with this list is that, if I am unsure what an abbreviation means, I always go here (the link is also in your welcome message). I think most members restrict their abbreviation useage to that list, because if I have to look one up, it is usually there. So 6 months from now, if someone uses one of the above, and its not on the SP list (and there are quite a few that aren't), I'm probably not going to remember your list, and I'll still be confused (which happens pretty frequently anyway).

    Hope I'm not coming across as trying to moderate here, since I don't know what the admins' views are on this; this is just my personal opinion.

    [​IMG] I'd have pointed out that we have our own list with many more abbreviations myself, so no error there. Not to mention that the majority on the list Shrikanth posted are never used on SP, so they're pretty pointless.

    Anyway, since this goes on the subject of abbreviations, the list of which is delivered in every Welcome PM on BoM, I'm moving this to SS and closing it.
