Keldorn, yes little Keldorn. Is he a follower of Tyr, Torm or Helm. I don't have much info about him(always romances Viconia) but he seems to know the guys at the radiant hall very good but his sword or something is a gift from Tyr or Torm. Any info appreciated.

[IMG] He follows Torm, IIRC, I'll check later. He is one of the oldest members of the Radiant Heart and has a wife and two daughters which he rarely sees because of his duties.

He is a follower of Torm. For conformation, watch his epilog at the end of ToB, it says something like Keldorn fell in battle, and can now be seen on the right hand of Torm...or something like that. :rolling:

But isn't the radiant hall a place for Helm?

Just imagine how big Helm's is!

IIRC, Keldorn will do the bidding of any good aligned god. Remember, he was in the service of Helm when you meet up with him in the sewers. He worships Torm though..."Torm take you!" :rolling:

Keldorn makes references to Torm, Tyr, and Helm throughout the game.

There are FR sources that explicitly state that inhabitants of Faerun almost always pay homage to several deities in their lifetimes. The deities themselves don't demand exclusive devotion from their followers. What deities want is some kind of worship, whether it's genuine adoration, or fearful supplication. They don't really mind worship of other deities, so long as it doesn't involve something that is strongly in opposition to their own portfolios.

For example, even good-aligned people will make offerings to Beshaba at a marriage ceremony to try to avoid that marriage from becoming plagued by bad fortune. Or, if they're boarding a ship, they'll also make offerings to Umberlee.

But yes, many do have a primary or patron deity that best epitomizes what they believe in. Torm, being the patron of Paladins, and god of duty, loyalty, and obedience, is naturally Keldorn's patron god. But Tyr, god of justice, is Torm's superior. So it's to be expected that Keldorn will venerate him as well. Helm, himself a neutral deity, nonetheless still has a certain appeal to those out to protect the innocent, which takes in Keldorn.

Radiant Heart is basically tied with Tyr, Torm and Ilmater who form the Triad in which Tyr is superior and the other two guys are subservient. Torm is the least powerful of the three, but I have the impression that he's the most active one too.

Helm is allied with the Triad, so there's no reason why his paladins shouldn't be in the Order of The Most Radiant Heart.

I suppose some other LG deities could be represented, maybe a few LN ones too. NG deities like Mystra or Lathander seem to have each his own paladinic order.

Keldorn himself is a follower of Torm. Technically he isn't a member of the church of Tyr and is not bound by any edicts thereof, but he should venerate Tyr in the way someone would venerate the liege of his liege to whom he's not a subject himself.

For his faithful service Keldorn has received his holy sword Purifier +2 and the status of Hand of Torm (in BG2 it's just a title).
