A question about AD&D Liches

    [​IMG] Does AD&D liches have the ability of immune to spells below level 6 like in BG2? I've installed the cleverer liches of tactics mod and I found it rediculously hard to beat a Lich because of the its immune to normal weapons + Protection from Magical Weapons spell + immune to spells below level 6 (thus no Breach)! So I want to remove its immunity to spells to balance a bit (at least, 3rd edition liches doesn't have spell level immunity), but I don't know if it's against the official AD&D rules by doing this and I don't have any rule book about it. Any information?

    In the 2E Monstrous Manual it doesn't mention liches being immune to lvl 6 and below magic.

    In 2E liches are only worth 8,000 XP, so it seems they are toned up a bit for BG2 (as has been done for more monsters...)
    When you remove the spell resistance, it's only fair to take down the xp value too ;)
