    Here's what I get:

It's not like I'm American or speak American, but so it has some added funny value for me, seeing how they say I speak this and that kind of American English, given I'm never been there, hehe. I thought it could be interesting to see what people get, especially as many of you come from various real parts of the States, so it might be fun.

    Here

Edit: Sorry, I was making sure I linked to the starting page and not the outcome page but, apparently, I hadn't had enough coffee. :coffee: Thanks, kuemper. ;)

All right, upon rethinking some answers, here's what I get:

But caramel has one syllable, toilet papering is neither a word nor an art, working out is done in trainers (although tennis shoes is much like the Polish word, which is why it doesn't sound bad to my ear) and err... that would be it, I guess. ;)

Bearing in mind that my chosen answers weren't in that bloody thing, so I had to choose the closest thing. (It's a 'trolley', not a grocery cart you bloody...person)

    Here are my scores:

Yeah, so I wasn't aware that there were so many differences in American speaking. Over here the difference is Southern American speaking or the generic 'Yank'.

I don't see how route can rhyme with out, and why the hell would anyone do the following?:

"covering a house or area in front of a house with toilet paper"

I got the same results as Ofelix. The interesting part is the 15% Dixie - I'm as Southern as mukluks.

I'm suprized that Upper Midwestern wasn't higher, but then again I supposedly don't have a Minnesota accent.

My spoken English is 100% "Danglish", that's why English speaking people always ask if I'm German. :D

There were two questions where I would not normally say any of the possible choices. Around here we normally say running shoes - not sneakers or tennis shoes. I have never even heard of any of the three choices for an easy class - we would call it a bird course.

Some of them, I had to give an answer when I don't use any of them.

How bizarre, I don't even know the characteristics of these accents. Someone should do a British accents quiz. Now that WOULD blow your head out.

Being upper midwestern, I guess I should be pleased to know that my accent isn't that bad. For at least two of the questions I wish there had been a "both" option, and like JSBB, I had a wholly different answer for the "easy course" question: I call it an "easy A".

This was quite silly really, because most of the answers were crazy phrases that I would never use.

I never use the words 'Soda' or 'Pop' and, like Daie, the supermarket thing is a certainly a 'trolley.'

    *Sigh*

    Fizzy Drinks
An easy lesson is a 'skive'
    Shopping Trolley
    They're called TRAINERS! Argh!

This is great. I'm going to an american resort in italy for my holidays where I'm going to spend another month with a guy trying to sell me 'freedom fries', just like last time.

That's it, I'm buying a top hat and saville row suit.
