Wow. Thank you for posting this, dmc. It really gives me hope to see that there are actually some conservatives out there who can look past the "flip-flopper" nonsense and color-coded terror warnings and see how terribly the Bush administration has misrepresented their ideals to the world.

I will forward this to every conservative friend I have.

Yes, Hacken Slash - don't look so shocked. I have many more conservative friends than not. I do live in Houston, for pete's sake. ;)

Reese is obviously a Conservative without intergrity; after all, aren't Conservatives supposed to blindly support a Conservative president regardless of the facts surrounding his presidency?

    :p

Well, conservatives should be critical of Bush, because conservative is the last thing Bush is. Real conservatives are non-interventionist, fiscally responsible, and wish to protect personal privacy. The current Republican party is a bizarre, contradictory conglomeration of beliefs. They are neither conservative or liberal - paradoxical is a better descriptor.

    That is a classic paragraph!

I don't know much about Charlie Reese - nothing at all actually. Never heard of him before today. My question is, (and I doubt anyone will know this offhand) is whether or not his website and columns tend to be published on a site that is read by conservatives. He may be a conservative, but do the conservatives know this?

I dont think so, the site is officially libertarian. So hardcore conservatives would probably rule it.
