[IMG] I have Trials installed and now about level 22 mage. As a diviner he can't use the Power Words and thus the only 9th level spell that I have found, Power Word Kill is useless for him.

Are there any other 9th level mage spells in the whole Trials and HOW areas? I have not found any yet... I am off to visit Isacaracht in about half an hour. Already defeated the Luremaster.

    Thanks in advance.

There aren't any new spells in ToTL, I know that much... There are a few more level 9 spells, but I can't really remember where I got them.

Yeah. TotL does not have any "new" spells.

There a batch of spells in there, though. I don't remember what all level they are. 6-8, assuridly. I'm thinking there might be one ninth level spell. I forget what they are, but I guess you found the "power word kill" there, so that was probably it.

I think there's one or two in all the rooms before Ischaract.

That's about it. You can probably find some kind of a walkthough that has a list of all the spells, and where they are found.

I have never found more than two 9th level spells in IWD - both (Power word: kill and monster summoning VII) were in Malavon's study.

Majorly sad. Finished the game with 4 empty 9th level spell slots. Not that you would need them, even on Insane level, if you finish HOW and Trials you are between 5 to 10 levels higher than the plain IWD and so Belhifet is...rather simple to kill...

Anyway, Diviner is no longer an option for me in IWD/HOW/Trials. Now it will be necromancer + illusionist or one of these 2 + bard.

Would have been overkill to have Timestop or some of the other spells like in BG2, Belhifet is not anything like Demogorgon...just looks "prettier".
