[IMG]According to the Entertainment Software Association that owns E3, 41,000 people from 78 countries are attending this year's show. Moreover, the date of the 2010 one is already known and that's June 15-17, 2010. Here's a clip:

E3 show owner the ESA has announced attendance of 41,000 from 78 countries to this year's event, revealing the 2010 E3 Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 15th-17th, 2010.

Debuting a press release as E3 wound to a close, the Entertainment Software Association, which scaled up the show again for this year after a couple of years of smaller E3 Business Summits, said that 216 exhibitors showcased their products at the event.

Electronic Arts' John Ritticiello was pleased:

“The ESA has put on a great show for the game industry," said Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello. "E3 2009 reflected the vitality, innovation and global presence of a rapidly growing industry. I'm already looking forward to next year's event."

As a bonus, here's a bit about a new device that's supposed to react to your movements without your needing to do anything you would do to a traditional controller, such as a keyboard, mouse, joystick or pad:

In an interview this morning, after the announcement of Project Natal, the Sony motion controller, and EA Sports’ continued commitment to the exercise space, Peter Moore has shared with Gamasutra his thoughts on what will make a successful Natal product.

“We’ve seen both Natal and the motion controller from Sony several months ago,” Moore began, “so we’re already looking at opportunities to bring both our licensed product and our fitness product to these new controller mechanisms.”
