My first question I'd like to know is what files are needed to be saved to put back after a format? I'm going to be reloading my pc probably later tonight or tomorrow morning. In the first NWN's there where a bunch of different files/folders & there really wasn't a saved game file like there is now.

Anyhow I want to keep my saved games & then the 2 characters I have made. So do I jsut ned to backup a copy of the saved game folder or do I want to backup the entire folder in the my documents folder?

My second quest is about te game itself...I've noticed that in a few cases when I get a new NPC companion that they auto lvl themselves & pick skills etc and I'd rather do it myself like I did with Bevil on the chick in the begining. I'm going to be replaying the game again here after my format & I'd like to know so I can choose spells for my NPC companions b/c some of them picked some really lame ones IMO.

    Thanks....

You get to level everybody the way you want, though I think they are of a certain level when you first get them. At the end of the game I had a bunch of people to level up since you get them all at the end, and Casavir was only level 10 because I never used him other than the mission when I picked him up.

I figure that they should be a certain lvl when I get them. After I leave West Harbor the dwarf guy, however you spell his name & then everyone else from there on auto lvl's themselves and I can't find out why...but in west harbor bevil & the chick let me lvl them.

Hmm. I can't remember if they auto-levelled themselves at the beginning of the game, but they certainly didn't later on...

There's a mod out there that lets you level up henchmen in any class you want. It also has them at a lower level when you first get them but not level 1. Sorry no link but it's at nwvault.com.
