I Cluaconsoled up a second bag of holding. Actually, I was hoping to get one for everybody. Korgan could have his axe collection. Minsc could have his halberd collection. Imoen could have all of her... "I don't want to be a complete waste as a thief"... potions and jewelry.

The problem was that the second bag contained all the same items as the first. Is there a cheat for this? A cheat to correct a cheat, as it were?

I did the same thing and was just as surprised. I haven't seen a cheat to correct a cheat, as it were.

For your gems, you could get a gem bag (though I can't imagine why you're schlepping them around, unless you just haven't had the chance to sell them yet). Just how many potions of master thievery do you have? They do stack in increments of 5, unless you cheat then you can CLUA them in in any amount and they will only take up one slot (but weigh a lot).

BTW when you get to ToB, there are a couple of containers that might be of interest to you. Since this isn't a ToB forum, I cannot say what they are.

Are you fully patched? I think one of the patches fixed this problem. If not, then it was a Weimer mod, and you can check their readme files to see which one it was.

The problem, if I understand it correctly, is that if you use the same code (Bag02, IIRC) the computer recognizes each bag as that same bag, bag02. One of the lists of codes I saw said that there are a few other codes that will create a bag of holding (bag02a, bag02b or something like that, I'm working off memory here.) This can be somewhat useful, though, in that I did this once and never had any problem after that with characters being too far away from each other to pass along vital weapons or items!

Right now i have two of them.

One of them was Shadowkeepered into the game before asylum, and the other one is gained in the asylum.
They contain diffrent items. I tried to get one for each char. as well but it didnt work as all of them showed the same items inside. The same as your problem Tayja.

I thiks Depaara is right about this. I just checked my bag of holding codes and they're different

    Gothmog,

Would you be so kind as to get me the id numbers of the two different bags? The only one I've been able to find anywhere is bag04. Thanks

here you go, Tayja, you can have as many bags of holding as you want, assuming that this data is correct -- please post here and tell me if it is! Now, given that it says ToB only, perhaps these codes won't work unless you have that program installed, but I have consoled in all sorts of things (like the Robe of Vecna, the Shield of Balduran, and a few other goodies that you get with patches or mods) without installing those mods or patches. So give it a whirl.

BAG19 - Bag of Holding (Throne of Bhaal, BAG19A-BAG19E also work)
BAG20 to BAG31 - Bag of Holding (Throne of Bhaal)

[IMG] If you put a letter after the original cod you get a seperate copy of the item.
    eg ("BAG04"),("BAG04A"),("BAG04B"),("BAG04C")
    are all different.
for me they were all bottomless because I had a mod from a competitors site (I wont say any more), a similar mod is available at http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~weimer/bgate/ease.html (this was from a link in SP). The mod may also be the thing that enabled the multiple copies of it, I dont know  .

Those other Bags of Holding you mention are ToB items; not SoA, which is why I didn't mention them in my earlier post. :toofar: :nono: If ToB isn't installed, you cannot get those items and mods have nothing to do with it. None of my games have mods attached.

BAG04 is the SoA Bag of Holding. The others are ToB.

[IMG] Spelladona is correct, the only such bag in unmodified SoA is BAG04.

Tayja, please reply if you have ToB installed.
If you do, I'll move this thread to ToB forum since almost all data in it now belongs there.
If you don't have it installed, I'll remove ToB related posts.

    Extremist,

*I* only have SoA installed. However, if there isn't a similar thread in ToB, why don't you move it over so those folks can make use of the info.
I'll remember to check for it when I add ToB.

Will the trick of adding a letter... ie Bag04a, Bag04b, etc... work in SoA only?

It won't work. Try with weimer's item mods or wait for ToB.

    Ok, moved. ;)
