Not that I know of. And I have completed BG with a 4 person/ blunt weapon party -- fighter/cleric, beastmaster, totemic druid, and sorceress. And they had no problems whatsoever with blunt weapons.

IIRC, no creatures are resistant to blunt weapons. Except those who needs magical blunt weapons, of course...

Adamantine Golems and Kangaxx both are, but they are resistant to every weapon, so not sure if that's what you were looking for or not.

There are no creatures that are immune to blunt weapons.

Kuo-toa have pretty good damage and magic damage resistance (35 and 90, respectively). So that includes blunt weapons.

[IMG] Mustard Jelly is 100% resistant to blunt. Slashing works ok on them (30% resistant).

I never could tell, I always smack those tadpoles down. I think they have one of the most annoying creature sounds too.

Hmm mustard jellies. Yeah like all 3 of them :p . Not significant enough to worry about.

i'm just tired of planning what weapon proficiency to allocate to my party members. have taken into consideration which weapon to use and just remembered that there are several monsters that are immune to bladed weapons. this made me think that to fight effectively my party should have both blunt and blade (although i am aware that several of you have finished the game without using blunt weapons, it's just me). it sometimes get tiresome (sometimes i just simply forgot) to switch weapons. so i'm planning just to use blunt weapons. flail of ages, mace of disruption, staff of rhynne, several other clubs and hammers, slings of everard, and of course crom.

i'll just use magic for the jellies.

    thanks for the info guys.
