[IMG] I'm an elf fighter, and everything is good but the fact that Viconia romance doesn't start because of whom I am. I can change my race to half-elf with ShadowKeeper without problems and this triggers Viccy to begin talking but I'd like to know whether there are any other consequences of this.

As a half-elf I'll still have infravision, however 'quality' of my charm/sleep resistance will change from natural to limited. Anyone knows the difference? Does this ch/s res. refer only to ch/s spells or maybe also to other spells that control mind?

Second, elves are good with bows and longswords and have dex bonus. I realize that my dex will not drop by one point but I'd like to know whether the mention of elves being good with those weapons gives them some bonus to THACO, damage, speed or something else related to using these weapons? Hence would cheating my race to half-elf make me a worse fighter?

If you used Shadowkeeper I think the only thing that changes is how the game recognises the character.
The bonuses to your character are implimented at the beginning of the game so they wouldn't be affected.
also the charm/sleep resistance is implimented in the start so it won't change either.
I'm not sure about the ch/s spells though

[IMG] Don't bother. Add the variable VICONIAMATCH with a value of 1 to the Global Variables section, and she'll start liking you.

Thx, though I already changed my race to half-elf and she started talking. Perhaps I'll change back. She won't stop romance now will she?
