Sorry guy I don't think you'll be gettin in there. I believe you need Valygar to get it. Without him I do not think it is possible.

Well, you should've kept Valgyre's body, went in and then fight the wizard not only does this give the reward, but also some cool items and lots of xp.

Yep, it's impossible to get in there without his body. Maybe load an earlier save or something because if you want the Crom Faeyr, you need to get into the sphere. If Korgan is in your party, I recommend giving him the Crom, and dual-wielding it with a good axe...mmmm, force to be reckoned with.

if that tolgerias fellow is still in the government building, you might try to pickpocket him for the body. i never killed valygar, but this works for some other quesst items.

(in the sphere are the "gauntlets of ogre power", if you can't get in, you can still assemble crom frayer if you cheat. of course cheating is evil, but in this case..., better than replaying the whole game)

[IMG] Yeah, one of the first times I played through, I forgot the Black Spider Figurine and when I came out of the Underdark, I was lookin' to get the Girdle of Frost Giant Str. I didn't know you could just use a summoning spell, so I went back to the grave district to see if I could get the spider figure... nope. So I cheated!(I'm sooo ashamed:)) Anyway...there's nothing wrong with cheating, as long as you do the quest every other time you play.

ah I just finished the game without the hammer,or any of the other cool magic weapons that you can collect the parts to, they just dont seem to be necessary. I had my assassin lay down about 12 traps and as soon as Iranicus shows they all went off and nearly killed him. He healed pretty quick by going slayer. Then I did some pearce spells and beat on him, he seemed to go down pretty quick after the horrible withering spell.

Not wanting to sound sarcastic or anything, but what does any of that have to do with getting inside the planar sphere?

Don't bold a quote, use the "Quote" button. Plus, he started the topic. Steele, man, you actually killed him? I mean, I've been evil, but I still don't kill him!
