Elhan is steamed!

Do I need to speak to Elhan after retrieving the lantern? The reason I ask is that I exited the underdark and then spoke to him, I was then confronted by that harper bitch who is after Jaheira. Words were spoken and I ended up killing her and her pals, but now Elhan and his group have turned into enemies (red circles) I didn't attack any elves. Anyways, this might seem like a simple reload problem then try again, but I ended up leaving the area, finished Umar hills, killed Kangaax, did the planar sphere, put together a nice little hammer (Crom), found celestial fury for my monk, and all in all did alot of stuff. Now that I got rid of Bhodi I come back and Elhan is still pissed. What can I do? I tried charming him and then talking but this doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

No, but where do you find the Celestial Fury. I'm currently playing a Monk, and would like to have this sword also.

The Celestial Fury can be found on the second floor of the guarded compound at the right side of the Temple District. It's a katana. Funny thing is, IIRC, the monk can't put any proficiency points in katana but he can wield the Celestial Fury! Is it a bug or is the Celestial Fury just special that way?

The monk should be able to put proficency points into the katana. They can use any weapon a thief can and thieves can use katanas.

    [IMG] Moeken,

I think you need to find a save file before you attacked the harpers. If you can't talk to Elhan you can't enter Suldenessalar( Elf city ). I did not have this problem though. Nor did I ever encounter any harpers even though I had Jaheira.

    Moeken,

I have the exact same problem with Elhan turning into an enemy after dispatching those dumb ass harpers. Post a solution here if you can find one .
    Thanks

    Promethius,

I'm sorry to say I didn't find a solution. There is no real way to enter Suldanessellar without speaking to Elhan. I tried using a cheat code to just enter, but it just didn't feel right, and I never like to use cheat codes. I ended up using a saved game from the underdark, and basically had to replay the quests that I had lost :(. The second time around I didn't run into the Harpers until later on (must be a timed thing).

I guess it was just a question of poor timing for the Harpers showing up the first time. One note Promethius, if you do have a saved game from just before you leave the underdark, I find that if you can lure the Harpers away from the elves so that they can't see you killing them then you are ok and the elves don't get mad.
