Mazzy doesn't have a romance - Why not?

    [​IMG] Mazzy is probably the best female npc in the game. She is short, cute, and has attitude, so why no romance. Speaking as a halfling, I think this is unfair

    [​IMG] Well, there's your answer. She's a halfling. Not many people play them, and fewer still would romance a halfling, no matter how cute. With the romances they obviously went with the human/elven races which appeal to most people playing the game.

    Anyway, I heard from a friend that you can write your own romances for npc's and custom characters, is this true?

    [​IMG] Sir Daie, of course its true! With the right recources you could do nearly anything for BG2. There's already a romance for Solaufein out, as well as a new NPC romance Kelsey (a Human Sorcerer), and new Area Mods etc etc.
    You could also write your own Spells, Items, Monsters. I've recently started work on a new NPC thief. (still early stages).

    Go to Weimer's or Team BG for lots of Mod's and Editing Equipment.

    or check SP itself for downloads on these things. :shake:

    [​IMG] Rag, you could always try to make a romance? Or get some other sod to do it for you if you're too lazy (signs point to yes).
    A Mazzy romance would be REALLY good.

    All BioWare romances are also clerics, to create a sense of urgency-- hey,
    Bodhi's stolen your lover, now you have no healing or turning power, yikes! Quite simply, Mazzy ain't a cleric, and I believe that's why Bio didn't include her in the default romance lineup. Of course, you can always mod her to make her a romance. That would be an interesting project. :)

    All the romances are with clerics? Hey, I never spotted that. Sneaky!

    I have a halfling Fighter/Thief and he has never managed to get Mazzy interested in him. I always put it down to his charisma of 6. :heh:

    Also Jay, Aerie and Viccy are all elven because they age slowly, I wonder if Anomen would be better as a an Elf...

    Another reason she may have no romance is that she had a boyfriend remember? Patrick? And she's a paladin(as close as it gets) so I don't think that a paladin would be respected going out with a Bhallspawn, and who'd respect Anomen anyway? :lol:
