    There was a person who would offer to make the nymph's cloak out of it in Baldur's Gate, I can't recall exactly who. It works like a slightly inferior version of Algernon's Cloak, but unlike Algernon's which has a quest for it that you hand it over to the quest giver, you get to keep the Nymph Cloak.

    How is it inferior?
    Instead of virtually unlimited castings of "Charm Monster" from Algernon's that works at range, you get a very short range (for all practical purposes touch range) "Charm Person" instead, although it isn't treated as touch spell, just very short range.

    The person who can make the cloak is Halbazzer Drin in the Sorcerous Sundries.

    An alternative use for the hair, if you're playing evil, is to give it to Riggilo on the level below Kirinhale. He gets trapped inside the tower in Kirinhale's place. You can then speak to Kirinhale after giving it to Riggilo and get 4,000xp.

    No, there's some confusion here between different locks of hair. It used to be the case (original BG1 and early BG1ee) that Halbazzer Drin would make a cloak out of Abela's hair (the nymph in Ramazith's quest), not Kirinhale's hair (the succubus in Durlag's tower). In more recent versions of BG1ee, Abela just gives you the cloak ready-made, without having to ask Halbazzer to make it.
