    I'm in the final battle with Karoug. I'm using the +3 bastard sword vs shapeshifters! WTF?

    I believe it is being counted as a +1 weapon and he needs +2 or better to be hit.
    It IS a bug, since every other such weapon that is "+X, +Y vs ____" is counted as the higher number for what it can hit.

    I must have a HEAVY bug in my system because Drizzit's swords don't work either :beer:I resorted to cheating to deal with this BUG! Killed all the werewolves and mage first, ran down stairs and healed. Came back up and dual silver daggered that Mother Fucker! Funny how those worked but the bastard sword didn't :confused: I have the other sword now and see if that one works :beer:

    Other possibilities were the Gold Sword that you can pick up from near Karoug himself, as well as the Flametongue from Durlag's Tower. Congrants in any event. :)

    Thank you for your support. I didn't know that sword was there until everyone was dead. I tried invisibility with Imoen but that didn't work either, you are engaged with that moment the second you go up the stairs. It took 27 reloads but I finally got it done :beer:

    Yeah, it's stupid that the sword you need to kill the werewolves is stuck in the loot chest of the final werewolf you'll kill in the game. There are mods that fix that, but yeah...

    At least someone understands my angst, you would have thought they fixed that for EE :beer:The sword I was using came from the mainland, I got the golden sword after the battle. I killed the last 2 werewolves in the U Beard. Is the curse gone or do I have to do something else? This game makes me more crazier than I already am :beer:

    Sweet, Thanx Kenny :) I'm going to start assembling every NPC I can think of to congregate at the FAI. I'm starting with Xan, I think I left that poor guy in the cave :( I'm going to work my way north after that. I have a few in mind and I will post it as it happens. Anyone should chime in If I miss someone. Perhaps I should make a new thread?
