Unknown beef with Madulf (spoiler)

    Well, I made an arragement with Madulf to speak to the Mayor, and I did so. Then before confirming with Madulf, I went of and Solved the Temple.

    On my triumphant return to Imnesvale, I marched proudly down the hill, to collect my reward, when I was attacted by Madulf an his bretheren with no announcement!

    Is this a bug? Or did I do something to vex him? (Like buy ale for the boys)

    hmm Maybe it was because you bought the boys ale, or are you sure that you made sure that there was an arrangement between them? You have to talk to Madulf then talk to minister Lloyd then read the journals in Merella's cabin then go back and talk to Lloyd and Madulf. I usually rest a couple of times to. I don't really know if this makes sense lol but it does for me and it works.

    Did you go an collect your reward? Maybe this had something to do with it? :confused: Or it could of been the fact that you bought the boys beer. I've never bougth them beer or swords so I don't know sorry.

    [​IMG] if you set off a trap nearby, cast an offenseive spell in his sight, hurt someone in the village when they have agreed to protect it, attacked a groundhog nearby, or they have been damaged in a fight (even if it wasn't your fault) they will go hostile.

    I noticed that this Virtue mod sometimes causes people to turn hostile without any reason. So if you have it installed, then I'd bet it's because of that.

    The Ale for the boys isn't the problem. The bug may probably have been caused for the MODS you've installed. Some MODS sometimes just won't be comnpatible with other MODS and things like this will happen. If you can just reload the game, do the mission again after talking to Madulf fellow in the right sequence (as Shadow Druid said). I hope this can end your problem. If it doesn't help the problem really is beyond my actual knowledge. :D
