    Hello!

I couldn't find a forum which is more suitable for this question, but if there is, please excuse my error.

I just bought Baldur's Gate II - The Collection for my girlfriend. It contains Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal, as well as a Bonus Disk containing various goodies. One of those goodies is the "Baldur's Gate soundtrack" as it says on the back of the box. My question is: Where in the name of Heck is it?

The back of the box says "Exclusive Bonus CD! Weapons, armor, & character portraits plus the Baldur's Gate soundtrack!" I can find character portraits, but I'm completely unable to find the Weapons, armor and the soundtrack. I even tried inserting it into a regular stereo to see if that made any difference. It did not.

So any help here would be... well... helpful. Where is the stuff the back of the box used to lure me into buying this "Collection"?

    Thank you.

[IMG] All of the missing stuff should be on the Bonus CD. You should be able to install the bonus merchants off of it, as well as listen to the soundtrack.

In any event, you can also get the bonus merchants from SP.

LIke Tal said, to get the bonus weapons & armor you have run the CD and install them (after you installed BG II of course) and in the game you'll run into a merchant selling them

However as for the soundtrack I have no idea, I too am not able to find it anywhere in mp3 nor wav format so it might not actually be in the CD, it could be in another format or there is something I'm missing....

Use acm2wav to rip the music from the game.

Great... so they lied to me. Isn't this kind of false advertising illegal?

The bonus soundtrack disc that came with the original collectors' edition also has the bonus merchants and other stuff. On loading the CD it asks you if you want to install/uninstall this content; no reference to the soundtrack. Exploring the CD doesn't help.

Skip the install process, open Media Player (or other) and then navigate to the CD.

The soundtrack SHOULD start playing if your disc is similar.

Looks like Kindo is stuffed then! (Though he should be able to get a defective CD replaced).

First off, sorry if bringing this back up is a mistake of some kind, but I used Search, and I figured it would be best to bring this thread back up rather than start a new one, so I could reference to it more easily for others.

Like Kindo, I've been unable to find the Soundtrack on the bonus CD. Acm2wav doesn't work either, when it comes to ripping the soundtrack. So, is there anyone who has the soundtrack and can upload it, or can at least point me in the direction of where the soundtrack is, as well as the "buttkicking for goodness" soundbite from Minsc ?
