    I say doing anything that isn't fun is work. Don't take me wrong, but why do you tolerate dealing everyday with a game you seem to detest so much, Syl? I wouldn't pour myself into a walkthrough for a game, and banter about it daily, unless I truly loved the game. I do love BG2, but I can understand if someone else doesn't. What I don't understand is why such a person would devote himself to the game, when there's so many others out there.

    [​IMG] Whoa, whoa, WHOA! What the hell's going on here? Your first posts here and you're questioning why a MODERATOR posts on this message board?

    First, this is not the only board at Sorcerer's place, so not all posts are about BG2.

    Second, it was not so long ago that Sylvus was enjoying the game; he doesn't any longer, and is expressing his reasons for his dissatisfaction. Why should he be discouraged from doing so? It is valid information that somebody with Sylvus' mindset would appreciate knowing before shelling out the cash for a game that they may sour on.

    And Weasel, where's your hostility coming from? All I saw between you and Sylvus was some lighthearted banter.

    @Blackthorne TA... I believe we are all created equal and everyone has a right to there opinion.(Yes I know I don't own this board) I find your post to be some of the very best.But that is my opinion.

    As for Sly I feel I was made a joke of and that I don't appreciate. I feel my question was valid.But that is my opinion.

    There is such a thing as hierarchy you know. Who comes on to a board and starts spouting off as if they control everything?

    I think it's too bad that someone can get so pissed off by the board that they feel they need to leave. I come to these boards for info and entertainment, and I find Sylvus' posts contain both of those things. I think the added sarcasm and dry wit adds to the post and defines Sylvus as a person. Who wants a board where everyone posts the same way. I enjoy the digs.

    I hope things get worked out.

    Sorry Taluntain for causing such an uproar. I think you do a nice job with these boards and I really enjoy them.

    As a newbie here, I was merely expressing my opinion that there is something very odd about someone making 1000+ posts about a game he doesn't like. But, I see that someone else made the point that those posts could have come from other topics, so who knows how much of it was BGII relevant. The overwhelming opinion on most boards is that BGII is a great game and well worth the $50. If a person comes here and sees the famous Sylvus with 1000+ posts (and a moderator) slamming the game as worthless, they may miss out on a great gaming experience by not playing the game. Opinions do matter, and coming from a moderator they have power. I didn't want to just sit back and watch Sylvus potentially ruin the fun for others.

    [​IMG] well I dont Get it. Why did he play a game if he does not like it. I have done that error before and the game goes either for the self or I sell it to someone else.
    He said that he did not like it and he Play the thing to the begining to the end(I am presuming that) why? so he can tell us the game sucks...well I disagree, I like the game, I even see things there that I was not especting to come. why does he what to kill Irenicus in the asylum? If the DM(the guys that make the story line) does not what him to die in there, he cant.Is that simple.

    Lord Moekan: I never presumed to say that I control anything at all. I was just stating my opinion on the matter, in a manner that I believe to have been tactful. I didn't accuse Sylvus of anything, and I didn't say that what he does his wrong. I merely stated that I didn't understand him. If I offended him, then I apologize.
