    Hello, everyone :)
I finished BG2 many times without modifications, and this time I'd like to add to the game as many mods as possible. Can you recommend every good mod you know and which is compatible with others? I mean, I don't want to install items which are too strong or one-day NPC's, but only well prepared mods. Thank you in advance :)

There's a huge amount of great mods out there.

SP's mods page is a good place to start.

What kind of mods are you looking for specifically? (game-tweaking mods, joinable NPCs, quests, fixes, banter packs?) Are you looking to make the game more challenging?
Do you have Throne of Bhaal installed as well? (some mods require it)

Most WeiDU mods are quite compatible with each other.

I'm not around my BG2 install, but to get the ball rolling:

Dungeon-Be-Gone - a must have - lets you skip Irenicus' Dungeon
    Banter Packs

NPC mods: I'm a huge fan of Xan (by Kulyok), Kivan and Deheriana Companions for BG2, but there are quite a few good NPC mods - it's a matter of taste and preference:
Amber, Kelsey, Tsujatha, Tashia, Solaufein, Gavin for BG2, Sir Ajantis for BG2 (it's still beta I think)... the Luxleys, Beyond the Law (items are a bit overpowered in this one)... that's what I can remember from the top of my head, also Angelo, Keto, Kido, Chloe - heard of them, but haven't played.
I'm sure I'm missing out quite a few...

Don't have much experience with gameplay adjusting mods, kits and such but in general, it's probably best to experiment and pick those that you like.

Gibberlings Three, Pocket Plane Group and Spellhold Studios all have mods you might find useful.

I'm looking specifically for NPCs and additional quests, but any others (like items packs) would be nice. I have Throne of Bhaal installed, I tried Kivan, Xan, Keto, Solaufein, Tashia and several bigger quest-mods, like Tortured Souls and The Darkest Days (which I didn't mention in the first post - sorry). I know where to look for mods, but I wanted to ask here for advice which mods deserve to be played. I mean eg. The Darkest Day is in my opinion pretty weak (overpowered items, "flat" NPCs, very monotonous quests and location maps taken from BG1 and ID1). I'd like to ask you for advice what to take to make my BG2 world richer, but with balanced weapons, interesting quests and NPCs etc. :)

-Angelo and Kelsey are probably the best NPC mods.

-Keto and Hubelpot are nice to have around and you may give them a try (not overpowered at all).

-Chloe and Saerileth are Mary Sues so you may want to stay away from them.

-Assassinations may interest you if you're going for a more evil character.
