Underdark - stuck in Flayer Prison

    I am stuck in the Mind Flayer area. I kinda just went into it, and after about 3 rounds with the Umber Hulks, I killed all the mind Flayers in the other room between bouts. Well...I have been in the room for about 10 fights now and can't figure out what to do. It is not associated with any quests I have taken on as of yet. Great exp. but kinda getting boring now.

    After your first bout, a door in your cell that leads to another cell is unlocked. Open the door and talk to the Githyanki in the other cell there.

    I've become stuck here, also. I managed to ally myself with the Gith, and free the slaves to the Southeast, but I cannot find the way out?!?! Anyone have any ideas/solutions? :confused:

    There are doors that say a powerful mind or some such is required to open them. You need to charm a Mind Flayer to open the door for you... There's at least one other way to open the doors as well...

    [​IMG] I found the way out. Those slave necklaces come in handy. Watch out though, as soon as you make a flayer open a door, he turns on you. And eventually, if you want to kill the brain, you need to discover the other way to open a door.... :cool:

    I'm stuck here as well. I've used a mind flayer to open a door, but there is another door which I need to open, but mind flayers won't do it.
    How do I do this ? Do I need the second way to open the doors ? If so, can someone email me telling me how to do this ?

    I think ive read something about being able to open them when turned into slayer or something (BTW it says that you have to be of godlike strength or intelligence righy, i tried it with 25 in both strength and intelligence but i still couldnt open them)

    Grebo. If you are talking about the exit door, you have to "clear" the dungeon. After that it will be open. Just pay attention to texts that appear when you try the doors. As has been said there are two other doors that require one of two methods (and yes mind flayer works for both).

    so what is the other method? im stuck at a door and tried charming a mind flayer and an umber hulk but it still wont open and i dont know where else to go :confused:

    There are two kinds of brain eating monsters down there; Mind Flayers and Ulitharids. Only Mind Flayers will open doors for you when charmed.

    To answer your other question: I've heard that you can open it if you become the Slayer.
