    Echelon Conspiracy.

Technically, it was well made; there were not many plot holes (although, an assassin with a sniper rifle who fires 30+ bullets at two people should hit at least once...), but it didn't make me feel anything, which the the whole point of a movie. 5/10.

I saw REC a couple of nights ago. I had seen Quarantine at a movie theatre, and I wanted to see what the hype for the original was.

It was wierd. Since I had seen Quarantine first, the original factor was unfortunalty not present. I thought the characters were better in REC (and better acted all around although the main actress in Quarantine was really good) as well as a superior story and ending, but I thought the atmosphere and tension was better achieved in the remake.

All and all, I thought they were pretty equal...

What's eating Gilbert Grape. Good movie, Johnny Depp is a gifted actor.

Harsh Times. It was well acted by both Christian Bale and Freddy Rodriguez, but it was kind of... pointless, almost?

Van Wilder. Decent comedy in an overused genre (college sex humor). Complete with cliche laxative/diarrhea jokes.

Outlander. Pretty good action movie with above-par acting, cool (albeit a low-budget and a little goofy) animation, and decent actions scenes (for the first time in a while I could actually see what was happening - this had none of the shaky-action-camera syndrome.)

Fast and Furious. If you don't go in expecting much, it is a good "popcorn" movie. Fast cars, faster cars, and lots of Vin Diesel's terrible acting.

I watched the animated Beowulf with Angelina Jolie -- it was an odd interpretation but it wasn't that bad! On the other hand, though, it wasn't jump up and down, knock your socks off, gotta buy this thing good either.

I saw Inglorious Basters over the weekend. It was entertaining but complete nonsense as a film. Was hoping for a bit more but it was very humorous. Especially its depiction of English speakers trying to speak foreign languages, that was brilliant. Actually, come to think of it its depiction of Americans trying to speak English was pretty amusing as well :p.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective - Classic, my favorite Jim Carrey movie (and yes, I love his shenanigans)

A Knight's Tale - A cleverly done movie that I have enjoyed since it came out. "Hit him with your sword!"

The International - Yet another movie that made me feel nothing. It ended and all I felt was that I could have spent the time watching a better movie. It was technically well done and had some interesting bits, but not worth the money or time invested.

I think I watched the movie a good 15/20 times growing up. My favorite scene is the crime scene where he serves a massive burn to all the cops!

Pineapple Express and Step Brothers. Both really good but I think Pineapple Express was particularly hilarious - lines from that movie have been running through my head for ages!

Public Enemies. I was expecting something boring after all the hype, but turns out it was actually a very Oldschool Great Movie. So I give it the OGM award of the year.

I saw the first half of Wolverine : Origins on a plane. It was okay, but waaaaay to much exageration. I like action heroes who are good at what they do, but I hate it when they're to good. I lose interest very fast.

And growing up, I was a very big fan of the X-Men comics, and I was always complain when they make a movie out of the comics... lol
