The one in the Sahuagin City? yeah, pretty cool because he's so laid-back and easy going.
And at the risk of SPOILERS...

He's still cool when you meet him later. But that's in ToB.

"A Spectator and his chest are rarely parted" lol
    Never fails to amuse me.

Then there is this kitchen troll in Firkraags dungeon! :D
It seems to be beyond him that you possibly maybe dont want to be served on a plate.

Oh, and what do you think about Nervin (sp?) that annoying man that follows you in Trademeet asking stupid questions about your adventurer life?. I must admit that Edwind casted a turn to stone spell on him. That was good, no reputation loss..

I think the name is Neeber - although I've never seen Edwin do that to him, and I know I've had him in the party at the time.

I think he made Neeber petrify him. I'd call it justifiable homicide.

Habib with the scimitar and Kruin the Githzerai were cool. Especially since I accidentally killed Habib when he threw the coins in the temple :)

The name is "Neeber," that's correct. He's the brother, I assume, of the character who does the same thing in Nashkel of BG1. He follows you around saying "Heyah" and asking stupid questions. If you manage not to kill him and endure his pestering, you get like 1000 experience or something, and some Sling Bullets +1 in BG2. In BG1, however, I believe the name is "Noober."

Yeah Neeber was so cool too!!

I didn't have the urge to kill him because everything he was saying was so funny! Bioware totally topped it off by Neeber giving you the rocks he was talking about! LOL! I was laughing so hard after that! :D

Drizzt and his companions are pretty cool, so is Jarlaxle, now that I've read the R.A. Salvatore books with them.

The interactions with Saemon are kinda fun.

I found it kind of odd that you meet so many characters from BG1. Viconia, Edwin, Garrick, Neb, etc. I mean, does everyone follow you halfway across the country?

My favorite character that you meet in the course of the game is probably the Drow (even though they're not technically a character). I just like how they're totally obsessed with power and killing ****.

I think the funniest for me would be either Neeber with his constant questions (never killed him, I always wait for him to give me the sling bullets) and Habib with his throw-and-run tactics

[IMG] Mystras Chosen, I totally Agree with you, Drow's rule :) Though I don't have the concience to play as evil drow :) (damn that stupid guilt :D )

But as NPC's... Minsc is really funny because he's got "so many hits on the head", especially when you take Jan on the same group with Minsc :thumb:

Or another funny thing I've read about is to put a Belt of Masculine/Feminity (or whatever it was) to Edwin, I hear he does go rather  .. Any experiences on that? =)

Oh, and what do you tell me about Xzar!! I got him in my party in BG1, it's a pity you can't take him again with you now  !!!. I must say that at the very beginning, when friends told me that you could find former BG1 characters in BG2, I expected anxiously to get back my evil wizard and his smelly companion. What a dissapointing experience to get them both killed!! :sosad:

When you first meet Jan, and the 2 guards want to arrest him, I kind of like the guard that mouths off to the other guard.

My favourite NPC is Tiax. He cracks me up every time. Tiax rules all!
