That would be close to a Cleric of Sune. It would be interesting to see a mod with Cleric Kits for more of the Faerun gods. But for the Vanila game, a cleric/enchanter would work out great. The cleric giving you extra healing/hp's round out the character nicely. Enchanter requires high CHA, correct? If so, that's a tough character to make in the Vanilla game, w/out cheating that is. You could skimp on STR i guess and go spellcaster/slinger.

That kind of mod would be interesting.

Yes, I think you need high CHA to be an enchanter(ess).

As for the attributes, sometimes I roll lucky in character generation and sometimes I cheat, I'll admit to both or either in some of the games I've done (but I don't always have or do either so in some games I've been relatively straight up).

Now that I think about it Sharess is an arguable option though Sune still seems more likely/a better fit for a character like that.

All the ones made in the last 10-15 years. SSI's old Gold Box games enforced those limits, which made non-thief demi-human characters useless in the latter two Forgotten Realms games, and required some consideration in Curse of the Azure Bonds. Elven mages worked fine, but dwarven single class fighters were iffy. Dwarven fighter/thieves were better thieves than halfling fighter/thieves.

I don't recall if the Eye of the Beholder series enforced those limits or not.

I just wanted to mention that in one game I play I have a totally legit (non-cheating) protagonist with 18 Int & Wis. That makes spellcasting work pretty well and with stats like those I can think about dual-classing.

I remember the old SSI games and remember playing one involving the dragonlance setting where an elf of mine maxed out on levels and I didn't realize it for awhile. A nice thing about that game was that I was able to make a new character/party member and add her to the party mid-game as a replacement (I could use a White mage/thief anyway).

I don't think the original SSI clearing out Phlan game (Pools of Radiance) had dual-classing options set up well. Considering how strict they were with level maxes I didn't ever actually test out my attempt to make a mage (1st class)/paladin through dual-classing (though now that I'm older and can think about it more I'm not sure if it would work-may violate the games dual-classing rules).

[IMG] Well, when i play multiplayer (which btw - you're really enjoy:)) i think it's inportant to have more than one fighter (you could choose ranger or paladin - but it's vital that at least one of them will not be multiclass)
also, if you have only one mage in your group - i think it's best if he/she is not a specialist mage
I think i'd go with either a druid or a ranger. definitely could be multiclass

    hope i helped some,

An option that hasn't been mentioned is not to have any more characters.
If you leave that slot vacant, your party will level up faster.
It is easier playing with fewer characters. I rarely use more than four.
Having a vacant slot enables you to use an NPC on a temporary basis, eg as a mule just to carry items to a store.
