Ok, so I have a new computer and went to install IWD on it. It locked up during install, though (I think my CD was a bit dirty), and I had to restart my comp.

Now, I can't Play it because it says I'm missing a file. So, I tried to uninstall it. It reads "Unable to find.....\uninst.isu Uninstallation will not continue.

So, I can't Play because the files aren't all in there, and I can't Uninstall or Remove Program through My Computer. Er, help?

You'll need to weed out all the references to Icewind Dale from the registry... some of the registry cleaner programs might be able to do that quickly and efficiently.

    Where did you install it?
You might be able to go into my computer -> program files -> black isle and delete the icewind dale folder.

You could also try a system restore to a date when you hadn't yet installed it, but I wouldn't recommend it. System restore usually just creates other problems if it even solves your current one. At least in my experience with it.

Hello, i had this same problem, all i did was download a registry cleaner and it fixed fast, if you do not know how to download certain programs for a "minimal price" you can do this manually, start>run>regedit search for everything icewind dale related and delete all the registry files related to icewind dale, might take awhile.

pm me if you need any "help"
