Jaheira Romance

    Hi, I'm going through the Jaheira Romance, but for some reason the thing won't evolve.
    The answer to CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("AerieRomanceActive","GLOBAL") is 1
    After putting in CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("AerieMatch","GLOBAL") I get an an answer 1
    when in the game I type in CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("LoveTalk","LOCALS"), I get 52.

    I havent yet met Terminsel - I know I should have, but when I go to an outdoors place to sleep, he doesn't appear, and believe me I've tried!

    I've already checked, and my answers don't screw up the romance.
    I've also tried putting the Love Talk value to 51, and it repeats the last dialogue. If I put it to 53, it doesn't go on.

    I don't know what else to try

    Any (helpful) comment will be appreciated ;)

    I had some trouble with it too but it was due to repeated dialogs. The offical patches for SOA and TOB cleared it up though. Have you downloaded them?

    IIRC, there were some rather large bugs in the Jaheira romance that weren't fixed in the patch, but may be fixed in G3's tweakpack...you might want to have a look.

    I installed the patch, but I still have the same problem :S
    About the responses to jaheira's romance, I just did it intuitively. Just be neutral-like, confort her about Khalid's death, make her see there are other things in the wold that make it worth living (like you). Looking up how to solve my little problem, I came across a guide to all the romances. I don't remember where I found it, but I'm sure you can find a similar walkthrough.

    [​IMG] Try resting in the Umar hills. Generally the best place to rest as an area it's fewest bugs. Generally away from both people and animals. To get the next talk you need to complete the Harper Quests to continue the romance from this point.

    Most tweaks and fixes will only take effect from a new game, there is no gaurantee they will work this time through.

    Nothing :(, if I don't find a sollution soon, I'm afraid I'm going to have to program her to be in love with my character, and perhapse continue on ToB...
    I'm resting at Umar Hills, about a screen to the right of the ranger cabin, and I've made sure that there are no animals close. I've done most of the subquests to be done on chapter 2. I'm just missing Watchers keep and some NPCs quests. I've already completed the harper quest, except for Terminsels first appearence.
    This game is too realistic: Love seems to be the most complicated thing to deal with...

    Extremist's guide was the one I had found before. It was useful, because it was then clear that something was wrong and it told you to go to this forum, but I wasn't able to solve anything with it...
    I've tried the patch, but i'm still having the same problem. Let's hope Beren comes online soon :S

    I haven't been able to completely fix the problem, but skipping to lovetalk 59 has let me advance with the romance. It's now in full swing ^^.
    I really want to thank all of you here. You've been a great help.
    Also, if I have time, I'll see you around in the forum. I'm sure there's fun to be had and other gamers to help.
