Hey Guys.

I really enjoy the interactions between the NPC's.

So how about a topic with your favorite quotes?

For example:

Sand (when chosen): "I think it is time everyone marched behind me, your new glorious leader!"

or

Tholapsyx: "Then I offer you this - a chance to live. In return, you will kill the fire giants and their king. So this is your choice. Do we have a deal?"

Sand: (quietly, to player) "Just say yes, and we can run."

Sand cracks me up every time

 

whoohh difficult to remember all these dialogues in details but...

bishop when talking to shandra in act1:
"my bedroll is a little cold at night - i'm thinking you can fix that"

bishop, when talking to me (as a male) before the trial:
"well you can try to kill Torio... and if you dislike that, you can always try to bed her - i doubt she is getting it from anyone else"

bishop: "luskans aren't people at all because they leave the free will as a toll at the city gate"

khelgar to neeshka: "a true hero doesn't need the help of others"

when bishop talks to me in act1, elanee jumps in inbetween:
bishop: "how many enemies do you have anyway, there is almost more than i can count!"
elanee: "there is a surprise"

qara, talking to a dancer in act3: "wow a pretty dance, but a little fire would speed it up i think!"

qara, commenting a dialogue in act1 between casavir and elanee: "wow, the druid has got an echo!"

grobnar in act3 when he bumps into a wenderkazoo: "well just i suspected... i couldn't see it because... it was invisible!"

when you talk to khelgar about monks in act1:
me: "monks use their head as well, you know..."
khelgar: "if you mean headbutting... yeah i know how to do it"

shandra to khelgar in act2: "from what I hear, no woman could learn about ironfist manhood from YOU, khelgar"

sand, when meeting klistrel in act2: "i'd gladly squish this bug but my book isn't big enough!"

someone (grobnar?) at the final battle: "my i thought he was big before, but that was just my imagination!"

me (female) and the knight Emerich+Shandra after the vigil:
emerich: "i see you've invited some corpses to share your vigil. do you dislike men in general, or was it just these particular louts?"
me: "they thought me a farm girl and asked me to spend the night"
shandra (when asked about emerich's whereabouts): "i did see some guy riding towards the nearest farmhouse..."

i've probably missed a dozen or more really cool jokes (many of them talking about khelgar's drinking habits, his beard etc) that i really can't remember right now

By the way, when Bishop says:

"My bedroll is a little cold at night - I'm thinking you can fix that"

Neeshka chimes in if she in the party:

"I could always set you on fire, Bishop. That'd solve two problems."



The issue about Ironfist manhood is Qara bringing it up when she is showing Khelgar and Neeshka how to insult properly and goes likes this:

Khelgar Ironfist: "You'd best be careful, you simpering little father's girl, or you'll learn a thing or two about Ironfist honor and manhood!"

Qara: "Oh, you mean the two smallest things in all of Faerûn? From what I hear, no woman could learn about Ironfist manhood from you, Khelgar."

Khelgar Ironfist: "Wh-what?! I'll have you know plenty of women know about Ironfist manhood! Plenty! They just all live up... around Waterdeep... or they'd tell you!"

 

sorry if some quotes are inaccurate but i'm pulling them basically straight from my head, but it's fun nevertheless (i hope)

if you talk to shandra in act2 at the flagon she says that she used to play with her grandfather's beard, pulling hair out of it
then khelgar says: "whoo, i'm glad i'm not your grandfather"

also at about the same time, shandra calls khelgar a: "khelgar drunkenfist"

there is also one instance in act1 where you meet a huge troll, and someone (qara?) screams: "this is an even bigger monster than khelgar!... RUN!"

in act1 over at the highcliff castle, when you save the two kids, elanee tells you you are good with children, then asks if you plan to have children of your own
me: "i already have three children to take care of"

 

me towards lorne before the duel:

"Is that a beard or did all that hair slide down from your head ?"

Khelgar Ironfist: "Prejudiced? I'm not prejudiced! By the Nine Hells, I even travel with a back-stabbing tiefling of all things, and you know how her kind are!"


Daerred: "Now, I know you didn't have any jobs for an adventurer last time in Neverwinter. But we searched the city for opportunities. After that we took to the road and I found an old lady and rescued a cat. We each got an apple."

Shandra Jerro: "Well, if it had been the Captain doing it, the cat would be lost, the tree burned down, and the old lady would be traveling with us now."
