Did I screw up my Sorcerer?

    [​IMG] I have this lvl 13 elven CG sorcerer:

    14STR (duh!)
    19DEX
    17CON
    10INT (9 after spellhold)
    15WIS (don't ask :rolleyes: )
    14CHR

    He's pretty tough in terms of spell picks & with the 19dex with stoneskin he's even tougher then any of my fighters in the party, in terms of deffence.. I was damn happy about this char till he hit lvl 14. The lvlup screen says i got 1 lvl6 spell & 3 lvl7 ( :confused: ) spells but when i get to pick the spells there's only 1 lvl7 spell to pick & thats it :(

    So i'm wondering, was it just a typo of the game or did i realy screwd up my char with those stats?? Maybe one of the unofficial fixes i got from this site? (the bunshe pack methinks)

    Help me out ppl. I haven't beat the game yet (never made it through underdark) & i had big hopes for this char :cool: Any thoughts?

    EDIT: never mind that topic ppl. i'v just found out from the menual that i should only get one lvl7 spell at this char lvl (14). huzzah!!
    i have another one though, with yer permisson :) , are there any penalties for having less then 16 wisdom with a sorcerer?

    A high wisdom is good (read: essential) for using the 'wish' spells and a high INT would be needed for casting high-level spells from scrolls.

    I don't think you have created a bad character - it just depends on how you want to play the game.

    Well i guess the wish spell is out of the question. I'll just pick some other spell. Shouldn't be that bad.
    As for the scrolls & game style, well, i got Arie she's the summoner/desabler, Imoen which is my support mage, Jaheira as a healer/summoner & ME with endless offence spells 8)
    more magic then i can handle :D

    The '3 new level 7 spells' might be that you can CAST lvl 7 spells 3 times per day now. :)

    You can always use one of those potions of wisdom to have the best results with wish.

    Have a bard or thief steal them if you are low on funds.

    well, you find some anyway. Plus, iirc you only need 16 wisdom for the best options, and there is one way you can get +1 wisdom eventually.

    Yea, i'v read somewhere that there's a place where i can raise one point. Just realized it was a slight spoiler cuz u didn't mention it's name..

    Ok, here's another one :) In my position, would u raise WIS for the wish spell or Imoen's INT for the extra spells? Guess i would go for the second.. Like u said i can allways use potions for the wish spell, right?
