    [IMG] Hello

I've been playing BG II SoA for quite some time now. It's been a great game so far. It has outlasted my interest in EQ Morrowind Dark age of Camelot. All of them. I'm holding off on NWN because I want to finish BG II and Throne of Bhaal first. Ok my questions...SOME SPOILERS AHEAD!

I'm just about to begin chapter seven and Jaheira was turned into a vampire by Bohdi. Well I resurected Jaheira and all of that but here equipment is gone.

    1. Is the equipment gone forever? Can I use the console to create the items I want back? ie: Blackblood and that +3 sling and such. My next earliest save goes way back. I'd rather not do half of chapter six over.

    2. I've installed official patches as well as some SP fixes including the XP cap removal. If I buy the BG II expanson will I have trouble continuing my last saved game including the Jaheira romance?

    3. Last question... From what I've read about NWN it doesn't seem like I'l enjoy it as much as the BG series. I like single player with a grat story (Although I did play EQ for over a year and had some great times with it I just don't like being dependent on people online to enjoy a game). Is there anythine like the BG series coming out or should I give NWN a try? I was plesantly suprised with EQ whcih I bought only to hold me over till BG II came out.

Ok enough questions thanks for reading this.

[IMG] One word..... ICEWIND DALE II .... OK maybe thats two. The installation of the TOB expansion should not adversely affect the romance you are currently having with the Druid chick.

    1. Return to the Bodhi's Lair. Perhaps Jaheira's equipment is still on the ground - she dropped it there.

    2. You need to remove mods before installing ToB. If there is mod uninstall option, you may do it with that. But if there isn't uninstall option, it's easy to clean it - just delete every file from override folder that has a date newer than year 2000.

    3. If you still haven't bought NWN, and you're after a real singleplayer kickass cRPG, buy Planescape:Torment.
If you're not after d&d games, you can also try with also these kickass RPGs (all singleplayer, all super-stories, none storylacking MMORPG):
    - Anachronox
    - Arcanum
    - Soulbringer
    - Summoner

If you're determined to buy anything online, don't forget to buy those through banners on Sorcerer's Place!

    1. Since you asked if you could summon them in from the console, yes you can. Send me a PM with the items that you need the codes for if Extremist's suggestion doesn't work, as in my games, the items were never dropped.

    2. All romances continue in ToB, so I doubt that you'll have problems with it.

    3. I agree with Ex. PST is imho the best cRPG ever created.

    1. This happened to me. She drops her items at the entrance to the cemetery (where Bodhi attacks you). I didn't notice them and then rested several times so they were gone (except for the Harper Pin).

    3. Did you play BG1?

Thanks for the replies and suggestions.

I just created the items that I needed for Jaheira and moved on. I'm just starting in the nine hells right now so I should be getting ToB pretty soon. I'm hoping that the price will come down a bit when IWD II hits the stores. I'm also going to to try to get PST if I can find it. That should keep me busy for a while without spending too much money either. ;)

P.S. To Vukodlak: Yes I did play BG I. That was my first RPG for a PC and I've been hooked on RPG's ever since then. :)
