I don't know... some of their stuff is just.. weird  . As in, they were wicked high when they wrote that stuff. Or trippin' on acid, or something. Like the song where they break out in: Hey-La, Hey-La, Lo-A, CHA!CHA!, Hey-La, Hey-La Lo-A.

I appreciate what they did for rock 'n roll, but still...

Although, I like Paul McCartney on his own, and I like a few of the Beatles' songs.

Wow Harby, you're agreeing with me for once? :p

311 should go on tour with Lit and Reel Big Fish. Those bands have "Surfer Friendly" written all over them! :thumb: :rolling:

*wonders if Ara differentiates between Dance and Techno*

Hmm, listening to Sonata Arctica. I can see why everyone says such nice things about these guys, I'm really enjoying this.

Haha, 311 is funk. Funkity funk funk. They're alright, I guess. Some of their stuff is good, some is crap...

I agree that they have some crappy songs, as all bands do, but I really like their good songs. Flowing, Beautiful Disaster, You Wouldn't Believe, Don't Say Home, Love Song, and First Straw are all awsome.

On Lit's end of the deal, they have a number of great songs too. Miserable, Sunny Weather, Moonshine, and Bulletproof are some of my favorites. :thumb: :rolling:

Darkthrone. It's been a very, very long time. You just gave me the urge to play Under a Funeral Moon.

DotW, besides your voice, what do you play?

I play the guitar... I'm alright, I guess, but most metal is too fast for me.

Saber, used to play a tidbit of bass along with the vox, but handling both at the same is kinda difficult. And honestly, I wasn't a very good bass player... unfortunatly, a few years ago (when I was still living with my fiancee), our apartment got sacked and my bass (amongst other things) was stolen. It was an old, sucky Ibanez so I just shrugged it off. When money allows it, I have in mind to pick up a new B.C. Rich and *REALLY* learn to play.

Gonna stuff my newly-found mp3 player full of Burzum as soon as I find the proper cable. RAAAAAAAAAAARGH! BLACK METAL IST KRIEG!

Hmmm...I need a good song that has "evil" lyrics to play when I have to go pick up my overly-religious brother from the airport. Right now I'm thinking of: Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil
    AC/DC - Highway to Hell
    or maybe,
Rob Zombie - Scum of the Earth

I want to put him in his place the second he sits in my car. :rolling:

What about Dark Funeral's "Vobiscum Satanas", or Dimmu Borgir's "Satan My Master"?

Little correction here, DotW. "Satan, my master" is originally performed by Bathory (hail to masters of viking metal :D ) ;)

Doh, that's true. Well, just fire up the Bathory original or the Dimmu cover, then.

Sadly, Bathory is no more. Quorthon passed away from a heart attack, I believe. Before Nordland III was released.
